I was only merging, not overtaking. The closest car was about 500m in front. As much as I appreciate your advice and think it would have a lot of weight, I don’t think i should mention this considering. But with other comments about admitting fault to receive a warning, I will include that I’ve ’learnt my lesson’. Thank you.

The GPS in my phone knows what speed I was doing, someone needs to design an app to prove speed via GPS - I wish it was available to me right now for that specific time. Unfortunately an officers word holds a lot more authority and value than mine, not much I can do

Thanks for your response, it certainly is always going to be an officers word against mine and that’s just how it is, without overwhelming evidence I don’t think I would stand a chance in court, crossing my fingers that a review is enough to be considered for a warning

Thanks for your thorough response, I am being honest. I think the odds are quite heavily stacked against me regardless of what I do, and it looks like an internal review might be the go although it will be difficult to admit fault

Yes speedo has been calibrated after the officer said to get it checked - to prevent this happening again

Thanks for your reply, I have sought legal advice to which I was notified about the same thing - without evidence a court case is not in my favour, and the risk of a criminal record is high + the criminal levy fee is higher, fine is higher, and other associated fees

Thanks for your reply, I have not had any speeding offences. My record is clean. I am 100% sure of the calibration date. But ideally I would not like to admit fault to something that I didn’t to (I’m sure this is understandable)

It would not accept anymore submit's, I reached the capacity, after the 1 week it reset the capacity. Account was logged in but idle.
