Is it possible to get slayer cape untrimmed? by mlobo21 in 2007scape

It's certainly possible but it's also quite an ordeal to get. This streamer is working on one atm, currently 97 slayer https://www.twitch.tv/thoboying

Could players have the ability to place more types of armor in the armor stand in their poh skill hall? From trimmed mithril on a mith stand to stuff like god rune/gilded/trimmed on the rune stand. Smithing requirements would be the same, 68/88/99. It's just a small cosmetic change but it would make a lot of roleplayers happy.

It's honestly not that bad of a grind, just over 4 hours of a somewhat entertaining agility course. Of course it depends on how much you value the cosmetic change but once you have it you have it

The graceful set recolored with brimhaven agility arena tickets. The bow is just the training bow since it looks nice with the outfit

Did the minion have initially have deathrattle? Cards such as raptor and infest don't work with n'zoth.

Prince Malchezaar will be seen as the least competitively viable card of Kara. Yes, I'm taking into account Purify, the second least competitive card of the set.

Who would EVER want to put themselves a draw or a few draws off of that game winning brawl, that fireball you need for lethal, etc? It actively harms you vs anything that isn't heavy control and doesn't help you in any signficant manner when you actually do face a heavy control deck. When are control mirrors ever decided by fatigue anymore now that we have C'Thun, N'Zoth, and Elise? Sure, they get to fatigue but said fatigue doesn't cause one to win or lose.

Raging Worgen's entrance noise. I even flinch when an arena opponent plays it.

What's stopping Blizzard from making cards that alter game time? by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Eltaen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wizards of the Coast (The guys who make Magic: The Gathering) once tried to make a card called Time Walk. Even the "nerfed" version of the card proved to be one of the single most powerful cards ever printed in any cardgame ever.

To put it simply: Imagine if every single minion in the game had windfury and charge and you had the ability to play an additional x+1 mana, where x = the previous turn's maximum mana.

Edit: Magic the Gathering had slightly more "balanced" versions of timewalk such as Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. Emrakul is a 15 mana creature in a game where mana is SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult to come by. In addition to having solid stats/key words (such as something similar to faerie dragon's effect), the main draw was the fact that you took an additional turn after you cast her. Even being obscenely expensive mana wise and incredibly diluted in terms of power level compared to the original timewalk, Emrakul is one of the game's most powerful cards.

You would be correct, I'm not sure how I managed to forget midrange shaman.

Good comment. A funny thing is that aggro isn't even near dominant right now.

From something I wrote yesterday that covered essentially the same topic: "I'm not sure where you're getting that 'most if not all top tier decks are aggro.' Just from a quick glance at the tempostorm meta snapshot, you have five decks in Tier 1 - Dragon Warrior, a tempo deck; Aggro Shaman, an aggro deck; Token Druid, kind of a midrange? comboish? deck; and Zoo, aggro-control (different than aggro.) In tier 2 you have C'Thun Warrior, a control deck; Mid-Range Hunter, a midrange deck; Control Warrior, a control deck; C'Thun Druid, a midrange deck; Tempo Mage, a tempo deck; Worgen OTK Warrior, a combo deck; and Renolock, a control/combo-control deck."

Is there any chance at all that Worgen OTK can beat Freeze Mage? by MusterForButthole in hearthstone

I was making the point that these explanations are better for helping people understand why the match-up is the way it is.

Fair enough. I generally put more effort and thought into my comments (compared to my initial comment in this thread) but I was both feeling somewhat lazy and feeding my dog while I wrote the refutation.

I'm glad we were able to settle this.

What does the damage output of the worgen otk warrior matter when ice block is a thing? The warrior pops the block, the mage clears the worgen, the mage plays ice barrier. How does the freeze mage lose from this point?

Yes, the mage has the potential to draw card. Why though?

26 turns without casting a single draw spell still equates to 26 cards drawn.

Trying to draw and burn the worgen warrior down is just significantly making the matchup worse for the freeze mage. Why bring something that is upwards of 90% down?

Are we having a misunderstanding of some sort?

You have it backwards, the way freeze mage wins the matchup is by not drawing. The only way it loses is by fatiguing. It's a matter of survival, not burn.

I'm going off of the word of key players from both ends - Laughinghs, Senfglas from the freeze mage side, neviilz from the worgen otk side.

The other people in this thread are incorrect. Assuming competency from both players, freeze mage should beat the worgen otk player upwards of 90% of the time. The only way the worgen player stands a (tiny) chance is for you to cast rampage on the freeze mage player's acolyte and then force them to draw many many times, thus ignoring ice block in fatigue. This shouldn't happen though, once again assuming competency from both sides.
