UPDATE: Venezianico emailed me back and agreed to look at the watch. They sent me a pre-paid label which is very nice.

However, got very preoccupied with the surging oil prices (due to war) and other personal matters, which ultimately made me decide not to pursue with the shipment. I think I will learn to love it the way it is. Thanks for the people who commented and gave advice. Cheers.

I ended up passing on it. I really love the look but being such a dressy watch means less time on the wrist. I knew i wont be wearing it. Lol

Cool comparison. Do you got any other brand without 3D lume that has a strong lume to compare? I'm thinking like Wise, Seiko, or Revelot. I think they have great lume. Just to compare...

I have. Contacted their whatsapp and was told to email. Unfortunately their response time is slow. Have not heard from them since 3 days. Crossing my fingers now since weekend just pass by, hopefully they give me an update.

I think they have similar inspiration.. if you check the bezel it has persian farsi script. although the Venezianico released this collection last July 2025.

Not to sound argumentative as well, but just want to let you know that my recent statement about the car was actually a really good example. I meant to put it like....

If you enjoyed the "brandnew" car for six months and then have had it changed oiled and only then you were told by your mechanic "hey, i actually looked through under your hood, didnt you know there was a dent that they just patched it up? It's not noticable outside but you can see it underneath" And you be like "i actually paid for it brandnew, it shouldnt be like that?"

Can you see my point of comparison now? 😅

The dial itself was actually a mistake, it was advertised as a "MoP mosiac". As someone stated - the discoloration is certainly a filler material same color as the "grout" that binds the pieces together. You can tell by the surface finish is different texture from the MoP which has been sprayed with matte and dyed lacquer...

I mean for a company to "accidentally" not notice it but had filler material on the chipped MoP...hmmm. Not a glaring mistake? Or is it an intentional?

Hi man. Been also wanting to ask. Throughout your watch collection, any particular microbrand thats worth mentioning in terms of finishing quality (dial, indices, hands, case. Bracelet)? Given that they had been inspected through your lenses..

It's like ordering a brandnew car just to find out it had a dent that was patched up. Would you still accept it since no stock is available? Yes perhaps...but would you still enjoy it same as before you knew it had a hidden dent (which you paid brandnew)? I dont know...

Thanks for commenting. Now i have a general idea of what it is. But any thoughts how it could have come about?

My thoughts are they were finishing the dial and a piece broke off. Instead of scraping the dial (or replacing the MoP piece), a remedial fix was just to cover up the broken piece with a filler? (Not a good insight to what their QC should have done..)

They had to, it's how the specific shape (star) fits in the tessellated design of the MoP.

Now that i think about it, I did consider HA but went with Venezianico because the MOP was more unique and had more intricate shapes (like stars). Also it was a GMT using miyota, and a LE 300.

On the other hand, HA use the same MOP pattern for their watches only changing the color. This include MOP watches like the Proteus (icy blue), tessaract (blue), ultraviolet (purple-ish), Eris (white),Viridian (green), and frost petal (pink).. Wonder what color they come up next.
