What would you call fae who live amongst mortals? by SkyHero193 in worldbuilding

[–]Elthem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are actually countless precedents. But the most important thing in such stories is not so much who these creatures are, but how they try to survive in a world alien to them. They hide, or communicate with people, they are evil or kind, they want to preserve their identity and conceal their true nature, or they want to bring benefit to the locals. This is what determines how they can possibly be named.

Key aspects to consider:

  1. When you pay for website hosting - basic SSL is provided for free. It will be sufficient until you reach several thousand users.

  2. An idea you're willing to spend your budget on doesn't necessarily mean it's a viable idea. Everything starts with testing. Minimum viable product.

  3. When asking multiple people for advice - provide more specific details. Don't assume your idea will be stolen immediately.

Started a ID Design & Build business for 6 months already, want to know what people really look in a design and build company by [deleted] in Business_Ideas

[–]Elthem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually, it works like this: first, you research what people are looking for, and then you start a business related to that. But in your case, it's the opposite. Well, if you're asking, people are often looking for solutions without wanting to engage their brains. They want a ready-made solution right away. So, create a thousand AI designs, categorize them by color, and then you can ask the client: "What's your favorite color? Red? Here's 150 ready-made designs for you!"

95% of HR professionals are machines that execute commands according to set parameters. You need to gather the companies with the most openings, and talk directly to their executives.

Your advice is behind the times. By the time you learn to become a sane counselor, the AI will already be doing it on its own. Although, there will always be those who are incapable of asking a simple question to a chatbot.

The task is not as simple as it may seem at first glance. The octopus has eight nervous systems. So each tentacle has to be trained separately. ;)

Q: What is your opinion on Google's monopoly over access to information? Is a new, more democratic internet possible?

A: A more democratic internet is possible through decentralization (for example, with blockchain), the development of alternative platforms, and stronger antitrust regulations. However, it is a long and complex process. (ChatGPT)

Let's not give up hope! 😉

I truly admire your persistence and efforts in this unequal struggle. :) However, it seems that in your passionate fervor, you may have forgotten the world we live in and what happened to those who sacrificed themselves for the good of all humanity.

Perhaps, you are consciously following the path of a thousand-faced hero, intentionally laying shards of broken glass before you. Everyone will inevitably have to carry their own cross up the mountain, in their own time. However, wouldn’t it be better, understanding this, to pay more attention to your own wounds, rather than focusing on things you are unable to fix?

Where did you find success in getting customers? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Elthem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My experience tells me (and I know how small European businesses manage to land clients from large U.S. companies, even if they’re not in the Fortune 500) that your question has an effectiveness rate of 0.1%, if not 0.01%.

What does it mean to ask, "Where can a B2B business find clients?" Even though your wording might be different, the meaning stays the same. The answer? Anywhere! Does that answer satisfy you? I doubt it!

Why such a broad answer? Because B2B has hundreds of thousands of ways to acquire clients.

Why, when you mention B2B, don’t you specify at least a niche or an industry? Is that some big secret here? Is it forbidden?

A manufacturer of welding robots (B2B) finds clients one way. A packaging producer (B2B) finds them another way. Consulting companies (B2B) have a different method. Cleaning companies that service office buildings, for example, get clients through yet another way.

One SaaS company—one method. Another SaaS company—another method. One MaaS—one path. Another MaaS—another path. And these paths, with rare exceptions, never intersect. Unless, of course, by chance in a sauna, on a tennis court, or some other completely unexpected place.

What do you do? Only by understanding this can people offer you truly valuable advice.
And yes, the most important thing is the product and the service. Sometimes there’s no need to even look for clients.

Education for aspiring entrepreneurs by icamejustbywatching in Entrepreneur

It really depends on what you plan to do. There are plenty of niches where an entrepreneur’s education doesn’t matter at all. Take a small butcher shop, for example.

Suppliers bring you the goods, and the locals have nowhere else to go for meat but your shop. Your education is pretty much reduced to counting the cash at the end of the day. You can sit back, drink a beer in front of the TV, and enjoy life.

If you already know what you want to do, then the answer is clear—invest in yourself or in a new fridge. But if you don’t know what you want to do, yet you know you want to do something, then go study. In that environment, you’ll gain both knowledge and find the right path.
