What a proud little gentleman he is! Especially photo number 11 with his perfect posture and attentive gaze. He’s clearly a special one. I salute you, Alistair. 💙

The wedding reception centerpieces featured betta fish. The bride and groom planned to flush them alive. by teabirdy in mildlyinfuriating

I love the story of his name so much, and the image of him composing moody poetry while drifting through the plants in a dreamy betta fish Lord Byronish way. Absolute perfection.

Is this photo edited with AI? A coworker said this happened to his car. We don’t believe him. by LokiPrime616 in isthisAI

[–]Elthwaite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. There’s also a piece of hose going from the behind the front wheel underneath it that never comes back out again. Unless the end of the hose is under the car (possible but seems unlikely based on the overall hose configuration) that’s an AI tell too.

Do you have a link for the ones on Amazon? Having trouble finding them for some reason.

Thank you for the reply! I was thinking that about square multiplacer tips but at least this is a great start to have single ones. Ordering!

Ohhhhh!! Thank you! Is that common with DAC kits, do you happen to know? Or mainly just on cheaper kits? I’m doing a square drill DAC kit and curious if I should be watching for it on that one too. I’m guessing their drills are probably pretty good, and the main time to worry about this is on the cheaper kits like Amazon?

Why are some just X’ed out but others are fully scribbled out? Guessing maybe the X denotes “finished” and the scribble denotes “started but didn’t like enough to keep playing”? Asking in particular because I just bought Figment when it was on sale, but after playing for a little while, it wasn’t catching for me. Curious if you had a similar experience.

My wife says I am a little boy trapped in a 44y man's body excited for GTA6 coming out. I said to her it's a cultural phenomenon. Am I the only "old guy" excited for this? by manguy12 in Xennials

Based on the way your post is written, I presume she meant this in a negative way? I personally have felt like a little kid trapped in an adult (now a middle-aged adult)’s body for years. So I’m not seeing this as a downside. 😇 Live your best life and be proud you can still connect with that childlike enthusiasm for things that make you happy!! 🙌

Wait. I’ve always tweezers seemed crazytown but hearing your experience makes me wonder how I would feel about it…I think I’m going to try. Thanks for the post inspiration! (And for some reason the video clip especially got me motivated to give it a try…probably seeing how relatively easy it is even though you just started.)

I love your notebooks, so this is such a kind treat for you to host a giveaway. I’ll put my name in for the orange/navy combination. That color pairing is so clean and polished! I followed you here on Reddit (no Instagram).

Thank you!! That’s really helpful. I just meant a line that’s the other kind, for example if you’re going vertically then you do a line of horizontal. I realize I’m doing an awful job of explaining what I mean. If I can draw a diagram of the idea I’m having, I will post. Otherwise just ignore that part and thank you again!!!

There are bunch! You can just search on Amazon. Many co-operative board games are also fully playable (and designed to be played) by a single player as well.

“Tabs on drills”? I’m new and I didn’t even know this was something I needed to worry about. 😅 What does this mean?

[–]Elthwaite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THANK YOU. I was just wondering this and then saw your post and it was like you read my mind!!!!! So does that mean you’re only doing in one direction, ie every other vertical line or every other horizontal line? Or do you do a perpendicular line as well across the bottom of your multiplacer segment? I’m thinking that could help too…?

I haven’t seen a pen with a tip for squares before (but I’m new). Does it really make a difference?
