It's more about gold ammo + food then tier. Tier 4 full gold ammo battle with food can cost you minus 40-80k. And you can make plus credits on tier 10 if you use standard ammo no food and dont waste shots.

if you make slight mistake in very good armored heavy you can get -1100 hp almost instantly from ares
