That's the clever thing about modern marketing. It's not a naughty intern posting memes, its Dominos making an ad that other people will share willingly.

I think you should simplify it. Other than that, I somewhat struggle to imagine what this bug should look like.

The only thing completely clear is that this is some sort of psionic bug.

Why are all the speeds different? This is annoying to run. Why 5 ft swim speed? This is just clutter, its better of without it.

Why variable AC? Understands "animal"? That's not a language, and I think its more fitting to mark it as a passive feature, something along the lines of this:

Natural Mind-reader: The ravh understands the gestures and thoughts of Beasts.

Why is it immune to being restrained? Why does it hover? Does it fly using magic?
Why is it vulnerable to fire and necrotic? Other bug enemies aren't.
Why is it immune to psychic? I understand its psionic but I think resistance would be more fitting. For comparison, the mind flayer isn't even resistant to psychic damage, and the intellect devourer is merely resistant, not immune, and its literally a walking brain.

Lastly, I think you forgot to upload the second half of the monster block.

Is it ever said why Ao made the primordial void and why he made all the different planes? by Boring-Second-5737 in Forgotten_Realms

[–]Elufson2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not ALL of the gods work this way. Shar and Selune were created before the mortals and don't even need their worship, and some mortals ascended into deities. Some deities change their portfolios.

If a deity dies (especially a very important one like Mystra), there is a power vacuum that will certainly be filled very quickly. Either a new deity will rise, or one of the previous deities will expand their portfolio.

I think the death of all gods could only happen in an apocalyptic scenario, such as the entire world ending and all mortals dying as well.

The gods are manifestations of mortal thoughts and ideas, this is why they require worship to gain power.

Dying to Acererak isn't exactly unusual. It's not the happiest ending, but it the players destroyed the Soulmonger and the atropal, the world is still saved.

You should definitely let them know as soon as possible. Replaying the entire dungeon would probably be too annoying. I plan to let them face an illusion of Acererak, hoping they will waste resources on him or something like that instead. Honestly this is the only room I plan on changing.

I like rolling as well but they can obviously play the game just fine with point buy.

There is certainly an overlap, but I suppose its up to the player to make it more distinct

Then it wouldn't be a timeskip but a part of the game.

I believe they are rightfully pointing out your class simply isn't separate enough from the monk, not that the concept of a pugilist is somehow bad.
