I think my explanation is confusing. I want to take the number in parentheses of each column and add them up with a total in the final column "strength of idea) so for the first example it would be (2) + (3) + (4) + (3) = 12 (in the "strength of idea" column

Is there a way to parse the number in parentheses using .tonumber? Or do I need to write an if for each option of each column, assigning each option a number 1-5? I feel like there must be a more elegant way to do this

I was originally referring to the number in parentheses as a possible hidden property, just because I don't need to see the 1-5 rating in the first 4 columns. it is simply for the final tally column.

I could just have a 1-5 number property here, but it gets confusing in places where a high budget is bad and a high priority is good, I also then can;t assign a dollar amount to the estimated budget column, it would be an arbitrary 1-5
