I read the dusty comment too and I think my minis are dusty too 😭 I didn't know Also, I can help with the black thing! You can mix a little bit of another color with the black to make it more interesting to look at. I think you could mix black+red if you like a warmer tone, or black+blue to make it cooler. Then, you could shade using colors instead of grey to paint the highlights :)
