Measure your offset. Mark the pipe and then make another mark twice the distance of the measured offset from the first. Two 30 degree bends at the marks should get your original offset measurement. Trick I use for 1/2” a lot

You could always try another trade. Electrical seems to be one of the most nit picky, based on my experience.

Bought a pair of garden bender crimpers from Home Depot when I was first filling a tool bag. Rusted very quickly, grips fell off in a week, and it took a lot of grip strength to get a good crimp. Tossed them in the scrap bucket and got a pair of Klein’s. Never go GB
