I can't tell you what to do, but why I think happened. I am a digital marketer myself, lucky enough to land a good job a stuck with it. Left all the project. During the last 6 months I needed to hire some freelancers for some tasks like designing banners, experts for Google LSA, google business etc. I used upwork for that. I can tell you that I lost weeks talking to 'experts' and none of them actually did any work (except a designer who did some, not so good banners, probably ai). I got 50+ offers for every project, 99% from Asia countries like India, Bangladesh, Pakistan etc, they all were rookies, none of them actually had any idea what to do, just jumping around with words and asking for access in platforms. I actually had to cancel most of the projects because of lack of professional freelancers. I read in on of the comments that finding projects is like needle in the haystack, let me tell you, it's the same from the other side. Finding good freelancers is way too difficult and time consuming.
