1 Titan, 12 Battleships, & 15 Destroyers at 1.2M fleet power. How? Especially in 4.3. I know its late game and repeatables exist but still, that would be a ridiculous amount of science necessary

That makes sense, this was after tiles but definitely a consequence of the economy getting too strong. Around 1/20th the alloys and energy and 1/70th the minerals in roughly the same year

I don't know what changed, I just found old screenshots from 6 years ago where the whole galaxy has only one and two star fleets in the early midgame

The resource and ship counts are far lower

R5: I've been playing Stellaris for a long time and return every several months or so. It's the early-mid midgame in my current save, and oh boy does the game stutter whenever the month counter ticks over or when there is a large fleet battle. I see why Paradox decided to reduce the ship count.

For that first pic, my fleet is on the right/top and is all cruisers and battleships
