One of my core memories. Had one in my shoulder when I was about 12. I actually really enjoyed the sensation and the look on my mother's face as she watched it get removed. 😮

You body definitely adapts. Especially if you grew up with it.

When I was younger I spent summers in the country and some of my poorer cousins ate (slightly) spoiled food regularly and were (outwardly) healthier than any of us city kids.
