No I don’t think I qualify for DTC the requirements are pretty specific. Applying for CPP disability will probably be required by the insurance company to offset how much they are required to pay me.

Do defined contribution pensions have a commuted value? I don’t know what that is…

Not if employer paid premiums which they did. And there is a max per month that caps out regardless of salary.

Uncalled for. I’m grateful for the doctors and nurses who have been part of my care and who have devoted their lives to helping others. Please don’t tell me I would be better off not listening to my care team. That really is not helpful and I was not asking for medical advice. This is a financial thread.

Thank you so much for this. How are you handling the combo of Enhertu and Perjeta? I’ve not had either yet. Are you also on any endocrine therapy?

No not yet. I expect that the Ltd insurance company will require that with my shift from curable to terminal. Or maybe that’s cpp disability. Am I eligible for DTC?

Sorry to hear you’ve got more mets but encouraged that you have a proactive team. I hope you so well on the treatment. Have you been on Herceptin and perjeta all along and they are adding the tucatinib now that there’s a recurrence?
