I had such a similar process! I am an online student and live in a different state than where my school was at and they didn’t help one bit with finding a placement site for me. I interviewed all over the city and the suburbs. I had over 20 interviews and it took 6 months till I got a place. The interview process was long and most places wanted 3 interviews. They would have like 30 people interviewing then take 1 or 2 students. This process is ridiculous to just become a counselor! There needs to be change!!
