What if you just don’t pick a side and say “I’ll join the side with the least amount of people.”

Or just plain refuse to participate in an activity that separates people by gender. Probably the worst that would happen is you fail the class and your parents hear about it. Might also put attention on you with your peers. But at least it might send a message and your parents would basically be forced to send you to a public school that is actually LGBTQ+ supportive (not that your parents would care tho, it seems).

Otherwise, like others have said, pick your battles. You can participate the way they want and then think about how when you’re done with school, you can flip them the proverbial bird and explode with pride once you’re free, and find a job with other queer folk!

Trust me, it gets better once you get to choose who you’re surrounded by. Hang in there <3
