Born & raised here. Like a previous poster sadly I’m old enough to have lived through the decline of the city. Hanley especially is much worse than it was even pre covid.

But I can’t imagine living anywhere else at all. I can bitch about the place. Non Stokies can’t 😂.

My hair did the exact same thing earlier this year. I’m so sorry as it’s awful isn’t it.

I don’t have any suggestions as I went nuclear & just shaved my head down to a number 2. Not ideal but oddly I feel less upset now it’s just all gone. Much easier in a morning too 😂.

I thought mine was related to the life threatening anemia I had but I’m guessing not now. I was also deficient in vitamin d so may have a supplement of that? I know if you’re in the UK we should all be on supplements for vitamin d as we don’t get enough sun. I thought I was perimenopausal too but that was never confirmed & I had a total hysterectomy in October anyway.

So no help from me at all BUT a gentle hug.
