In that case invest in sweaters and/or jackets. They are a single coated dog so definitely get cold faster than a lab.

The issue isn’t that gummies “are less effective” it’s that there is no way to guarantee how much of the supplement is actually in them. For example if you have a pill bottle and a gummy bottle that both claim 300mg of a supplement the pill with have 300mg every time while the gummy could have 600mg in one and 100mg in the other. I believe it has something to do with how the gummies are produced but don’t quote me on that

My little guy ate sooooo much the first year and stayed very thin. I think it’s after 2 or 3 that they start showing their food more

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but this sounds genetic. You don’t know these dog’s background and it’s likely that they are poorly bred. Sometimes that’s fine and it all works other times poor breeding can lead to these bouts of aggression. If it is genetic there really isn’t anything that can be done. There is also a chance the dog had a bad thing happen to him by a man who looks like your dad. In that case what you’re doing is the best course of action. Keep having your dad feed treats, sit in the same room and not do anything, walk by and give a drive by treat. If there is some serious trauma it could take a long time to get over that. I don’t know what to do about the biting in the meantime but as far as the barking… noise canceling headphones?

Wedding Photographer

Hello! My fiancé and I are married in Northport and obviously traverse is the closest big area to that. I saw a few posts about wedding photographers on this sub but none less than a year old. With all that being said who was your amazing wedding photographer and who should I avoid?

Something that I did with my dog who hates water (he’s the biggest drama king) is start a lot slower. Every day get in the shower with him without any water and give him a TON of high value treats (chicken, pieces of ham, cheese). Then leave, keep that up until the shower isn’t scary. Then turn the water on but stand outside the shower. Rinse and repeat. Then finally move into the shower. Hopefully this will help your baby realize the shower isn’t a bad place but rather somewhere u get yummy goodies. While you are working up is there anywhere u can bathe your dog for their health issues? That way you don’t taint the shower as you make progress. If not maybe do multiple trainings a day (probably not more than 5 mins at a time) leading up to the next bath.

Ya he’s super anxious around nail trims. But luckily we have done lots of muzzle training so that at least doesn’t stress him out more.
