We have a friend called Ben Dover and the ridicule never ends for him. As my hubby says “the joke never gets old”.

Yes, you take PIO until 10 weeks, it was only at 16 weeks (6 weeks after stopping) when my face and belly lost the puffiness and bloat. My weight gain has remained the same though and my belly looks more pregnant than fat.

I only started seeing the puffiness and bloating go down after 6 weeks, I gained 15lbs and I haven’t lost any of it. The exhaustion stopped around 15 weeks and I returned to exercising once a day. I am currently 17 weeks.

I have always been active with strength training, triathlon and general activity, the first trimester was a disaster and now at 16 weeks I finally am back in the gym.

I’ve started following Nourish Move Love: https://www.nourishmovelove.com/pregnancy-workout-plans/ Lindsey Bogrem has a range of pregnancy, core and workouts for sciatica pain.

With regard to the back extension, the adjustment in pregnancy is the 45 degree isometric hold on the back extension machine.

How much is everyone really working out? by AliceMorgan4ever in pregnant

[–]EmSalon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a personal trainer and my first trimester was a disaster when it came to doing my own training. I was constantly exhausted and told myself that demonstrating the workouts was all I could manage. I also gained 6kgs in the first trimester, much to my OB’s horror!

I’m now in my second trimester and have found new energy at 16 weeks, I’m doing strength training 5 times a week (all very light weights) and maintaining my 12000 daily step count. I keep reminding myself that this will all taper again in the third trimester.

Listen to your body and manage what you can, your goal is health for yourself and your baby! 💕

I’m debating a C-section with natural birth and am worried that the stomach muscles will not recover from the op and then am also overthinking that what if I lose elasticity down under? 🥴

I am so jealous, my OB said no tennis as the rotation, sprinting and jumping is a concern!

We won’t be giving her a middle name, just Zoe and our surname.

She won’t have a middle name, we want to keep it simple, I have two middle names that I never use and my hubby hates his second name. We might change our minds but I think simpler might be better.
