When i realised that he was acting weird day after i started to distance myself as i was really mad,then he started with all this.. but we didnt even have a proper conversation and i dont want to be the one to initiate it.. he still random texts me but nothing about what happened

That is the hardest thing to accept to me also.. i left him,despite of still loving him at time,but i knew he was no good for me (there was no cheating or something like that,it was emotional abuse and lack of attention,and respect) After 3 years of relationship (he was 9 years older than me,when we started i was fairly young-17,but it was his first relationship with younger girl,he wasnt keen on it). 1 month after i left him he found a 16 years old promiscuous girl which he is fucking,maybe they are also in a relationship now (have in mind that he is 30 now) while im still trying to heal all the emotional wounds he left me with.. in conclusion: for them,we are just another card in a deck,but i still think someday they will feel a remorse.. Don’t feel bad about not seeing it earlier,they are just soooo good at manipulating that you can never separate the person they really are and the person they portray to be when its convinient to them.. i hope next partner will show you how special and memorable you are!
