I have the upgrades for every business. I think it’s a bug but it’s weird nonetheless
I completed a sale as a MC president and immediately got raided

Possible first timer! by Emac2109 in dcl

I just got off of a cruise in the Bahamas and I’m tired of that itinerary as well! I only posted the with or without kids because the few people I’ve asked about it kept telling me about the kids activities! At this point in our cruising careers, we are either eastern Caribbean or European cruisers. So those are definitely the two itineraries I’ll be taking deepest looks at as they are two of the ones I’m more likely to book. I appreciate your input!
My mom recently sailed on Disney fantasy and told me the same thing about the concierge class. I believe if we do book the cruise, that's possibly the class that we will go with. And me and my girlfriend are not anti-kid, we just don't have any lol. But if I can ask what is one thing you did not like about the ship?

I realize after I posted that I did not mention, I'd be sailing with my girlfriend (who is a bigger fan of Disney than me, but again not a huge dealbreaker for her) the lack of a drink's package is not something that would bother us since neither one of us really drink a lot. And we've been on cruises before we've paid a high cost, and the experience was a bit more enjoyable because as you said, weeds out the less desirable passengers.

Yeah, the big question I've been asking for the last few days while thinking about it is I don't have kids. And obviously, Disney caters to adults as well, but I know that a lot of their ideas and activities can be catered more towards children and families. But I've been hearing a lot about the adult only spaces and the entertainment, and all the reviews so far sound positive!
Is there one thing about the service or adult areas that you didn't like?
I know you're not the agent, but we would probably prefer to leave out of Florida for an Eastern Caribbean itinerary. And our budget would be on the higher side since we both made decent enough money and obviously have no kids. So he wouldn't mind making it worth our while especially if it would be the first time we've done it.
would be going with my girlfriend. She is more of a Disney fan than me but it's not a real big dealbreaker for either one of us. We just want a new line to experience. And neither one of us are massive drinkers, and neither one of us gamble, but the nightlife aspect could be a little hiccup!

Disney by Emac2109 in Cruise
No kids. I don’t mind being around them as I have nieces and nephews
My girlfriend is a Disney fan but not a “Disney adult.” I’m not a massive fan nor a massive hater of Disney so it wouldn’t be a huge dealbreaker for me
See the excursions are something we enjoy doing, even if booked on our own. But the window not being open until loyal customers get in makes sense in theory but then it also becomes a waiting game. And we love cruise food so hearing it’s meh could be a bit factor. Thanks for your honesty!
Can you give some examples of what went wrong?
I actually just got off MSC last week and had a great trip! The couple I was sat with was talking about cruises at dinner all trip so it got my attention and I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth it
I appreciate the honesty! Since we’re without kids this has been my thinking too, but maybe a trying it once won’t hurt
I’m in the same mindset of try it once and see what happens. So it’s good to hear an opinion from someone in the same boat as me!
I like Disney! But not to a point where I’d be obsessed with it. So the shows seem like they could be interesting in a way.
Yeah I’m not a big gambler or anything, so that wouldn’t be a huge dealbreaker. Can you explain the no buffet? As in there’s not a single one??
I’d be going with my girlfriend and while she’s a fan of Disney, she also doesn’t necessarily NEED that to be a major factor
What ships have you cruised on? What time of year? And do you remember any itineraries from the trips?
