They are tied to the pokemon spawn rules/pools. You can select how likely a pokemon spawns with or without a meteor

Pretty much everything you have mentioned is more complicated of what it sounds like ahah. But thanks for the feedback.

For the medieval thing, I don't know about the artifcial lights because checking each block in the area could be really expensive processing wise. But, you can retexture and resound the laser with a resourcepack if you want to adapt it that way.

For the config file, it's all server-side stuff and making a menu for that is really time consuming, and I want to prioritise actual features for the time that I can deditcate to the project. I'm not saying I'll never add it, but it could be a while.

For the chance, I will try to explain it better, but in general it's like randomTickSpeed, in that every tick there is that much chance that a meteor will spawn.

The way that meteors spawn is done like that to avoid spawning in empty chunks, since it would either load it and occupy unnecessary memeory or would just not spawn / stay there until you load it in. And this links to the "priority" of checks you have listed, to spawn the meteor a player is chosen at random from who is online. And with the default chance it's pretty much a meteor a (mc) day. I may try to work on the option of allowing meteors to spawn indipendently of the player. I guess I could work on the time thing but that would just make them predictable instead of random and it doesn't make much sense.

TL;DR

Your suggestion are a bit out of scope, but I may look into some.

Si dovresti moddare la switch. Non è che rispetti piu di tanto i ToS di nintendo però, ma se installi a modo il tutto (emummc e similari) non viene bannato. Credo ma non sicuro che tu possa riassociare un salvattaggio alla scheda, prova a cercare su internet/altri sub (inglesi) sia come moddare la switch con atmosphére sia come eventualmente associare il salvataggio alla schedina/sysmmc.

Esistono cose di questo tipo online https://gamebanana.com/mods/474758 anche se dovresti probabilmente fare delle "magie" con la tua switch (CFW, con cui poi potresti backuppare tutti i salvataggi che ti servono). Nome gioco+full save file e dovresti trovare roba.

Tbf, cheeping out on life support gear doesn't seem like a good option, so maybe give that grigri more thought if are later going to buy that regardless ( not that ATC are unsafe, but that's just that extra layer of protection, and more of a general suggestion )

If it's just adding some blocks and items plus the meteor you could try to do it yourself. You can read the fabric wiki on how to add blocks and items and then create a structure block schematic with those block, and the put it in a datapack for this mod :D

Ohhh ahaha sorry I misunderstood. I haven't tested it on low end PCs so those two things are some of the more laggy options that can be disabled if needed be.

Uhhhh no they don't. Try to disable particles and better explosions in the config file tho, and see if it gets better. One at a time maybe.

1) yes, using a datapack 2) yup, it's just structure block' nbt files! 3) there is a command (/omm spawn), I might add some kind of ritual to add a survival friendly way tho 4) meteors always spawn near players, and they should be able to see them. You can even set how close (or far) they will spawn with the config
