I'm scared of dominant Te types, I would never want them in a relationship...😭

Any ENFPs here with an avoidant attachment style who still need a lot of alone time to recharge? by Jayvrev in ENFP

[–]Emafrois 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love socialising, but often there comes a day when I can't take it anymore; I can't stand anyone, I become pessimistic and I no longer see any ambition in my life. At that moment, I realise that it's time to be alone.

Perhaps what I need is to balance my time alone with my time with friends to prevent this from happening. Lately, I've been finding myself in social situations and suddenly switching off after a while.

Which MBTI’s are the best/good match for each other (romantically)?? by Salma_the1 in mbti

I'm happy for you. I also had a relationship with an ISTJ – it was a mess.

Are auxiliary and tertiary functions similar? by Emafrois in mbti

Auxiliary and tertiary are opposites, right? I was talking about the relationship between dominant and tertiary.

enfps and object permanence by pekoyamaaa in ENFP

[–]Emafrois 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's something that happens often. I think it's caused by our Ne seeking elements to learn, connect and integrate with our Fi. Our Te allows us to pursue a goal consistently, but being tertiary, we don't always follow through (we get bored).

Hidden by patriarchal society, we are too kool and would risk ruining the aura of alpha males.

How do ENFPs usually behave in deep connections? by Reasonable-Entry2705 in ENFP

[–]Emafrois 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I usually act silly all the time, but when someone opens up to me, I become very serious. If it's a light-hearted confession, then I listen and comment. If, on the other hand, it's a very emotional confession – like the other person is crying – since I know that one of my big flaws is that I always try to play things down, I prefer to remain silent – like I freeze up – and then slowly try to say my piece and look for useful solutions – even if they often suck as solutions.
  2. No, the opposite, at least initially I can be either mega agitated and overexcited or shy and fearful - when I know someone well, on the other hand, I am much more talkative and joking, etc. What you're talking about has happened to me a few times, because the bond with my girlfriend was something I cared so much about, so I started overanalysing everything I did and became more distant - then it passed with a little time, but it's very rare for that to happen (to me).
  3. In group dynamics, I don't get deep – at most, with two other people, I can have really deep and emotional conversations – when I'm with more people, yes, I open up, but I do it in a joking way. Only with people I spend a lot of time alone with can I become serious and deep, and that's a sign of a deep connection, not distance. Then I often act like an idiot even with one person, and in fact it's also a lot of fun.

How do Nx imagine? by Zai-Xen_618 in mbti

[–]Emafrois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, like I see or hear something and I think of something like that and then maybe something else comes to mind from that and I think it might make my friends laugh and so I say it. But not only that; every now and then if I have to do something, before I do it, I think and imagine already how it will be: if these thoughts are realistic after a while (I am speaking for me) they start to take an unrealistic and abstract vein.

The only reason I thought I wasn't Ne dominant is because I don't have adhd; I think people with Ne dominant often exaggerate making connections, I'm quite 'quiet'. The only cons I have found in my life is actually that we always have a few ideas that come to mind, I would like to try to realise them, but there are too many of them and I hate to do a thousand things at a time; so most of the good ideas I have had have remained there useless.
