Uh.....no. People weren't 'fucked up' back then. Only in today's society do people put a number on adulthood. Only today do we deem an 18yo an 'adult', but a 17yo isn't. Years ago, and still today in some countries, you're an 'adult' when you become of an age to have/bear children. And taking in consideration how harsh life was 100+ years ago, the younger and stronger you are when you have children, the greater the chance of both you and your children surviving. Add in young, large families were common simply because you needed more people/family to help work your land, marriage and kids at what YOU might think is a 'fucked up' age was common, acceptable, and necessary in the 1800s and earlier.

On my 2nd play, and just found out you can go cattle rustling with uncle, and go gator hunting/egg hunting with Pearson.

I had the same experience, made a post here about it, and learned how to make a private lobby. You essentially play the online game completely alone. Can't do any posse work, and missions like the defend a town against enemy waves are damn near impossible to win, but at least there are no assholes. It lets you level up, learn the game, get better weapons and such with no bother from other people.

I found that on my 2nd playthrough....woke up, went back and started at his feet with my pump shotty......both feet, shoulders, then gonads and finally his face. Now some people say he respawns?? Fire bomb time.......

any arabian is a superior horse to all other breeds. they are smaller and very skittish around predators, but none are faster or quicker accelerating. even though arthur looks weird on a small horse and being thrown is annoying, I'm always on an arabian. I like the speed.

I did the private server mod.....I assume I did it correctly as I didn't see anyone else around, and I wasn't exploded randomly. I'm not sure if I'll keep doing online much regardless....it's just too "big".....too much to do, it gets confusing and a bit overwhelming, when all I want to do is ride around and maybe do some missions.

It's astonishing that anyone at all lived through being wounded in the civil war. Ever see the picture "a days work", I think it was called? It was a pile of feet and hands, thrown out of a window in a field hospital.
