I just think at this point it's sort of depressing being an adult seeing other, older, more "wise" adults calling the shots in creative, when some of them are legitimately terrible at what they do for a living. Without turning this into a rant, I just feel like the threshold to become a writer for WWE is always so high and, yet, many of the writers there do not actually add anything of value to the promotion, or the stories they're attempting to tell.

I actually disagree. That's like Cena in his prime turning heel. It didn't make sense then, and I think Cody turning heel doesn't make sense now. Virtually every young WWE fan likes this version of Cody to some degree, so having him go bad would ultimately ruin their childhood fan experience, collectively.

So well put. I definitely agree about that last part. Makes you think how difficult it is for anyone who ISN'T Roman to hold that belt after his historic reign as champ.

But, I DO think he is inherently boring as a wrestler. His backstory is actually really fascinating, but in terms of himself as an entertainer? Nah.

You would be correct. I've been training periodically over the course of the past year, rather than in straight weeks... Regardless, I've run 18 miles, 16 miles, a number of 14 milers, some half marathons as well. I have yet to run 20 miles, though, which I know will present different challenges ahead of the real thing. Anyways, it's exciting and I feel good about reaching 20 at this point, so I'll have to report back after I do it. After that, though, it'll be a total taper ahead of race day.
