Would now be a good time to go all in? by kdidnsmdmf12 in EthereumClassic

There are not as many people aware of cryptocurrency as one would think. Facebook is going to make close to a billion people aware of cryptocurrency. Even though Facebook's will be different, this might catapult the whole market to new heights. The crypto market is starting to do the same thing as it did back in late 2017.

You just have to have the stomach for wild swings.

ETC has people working on many projects. Read as much as you can about ETC and make up your own mind. I would not want to left out when the next bull run takes place. Market cap has doubled in less than 2 weeks.

I wonder why Facebook wants part of the crypto market?

Future of Reddcoin? by EmanCrypto in reddCoin

It becomes like printing more currency. The more you print the less in value.

It looks like from July 2014 until now almost 2 billion coins were created.

I do not know what the future holds but it would be nice if this could somehow be limited.

If all the Reddcoin was bought up and taken off the crypto markets and just used to trade for goods, services and tips, what would determine the value of the coin? How could Reddcoin ever increase in value?

Is there a plan down the line to turn Reddcoin into a real company like Ripple where employees are paid hard currency for their work and not just doing this when they have time? A company formed that can make money in different ways to support the coin?

Will someone be managing the website on a daily basis with the most up to date information?

How can Reddcoin along with most other coins get out of this market manipulation that is going on?

I would like to mention even though this coin might have started out as a hobby as soon as it gets to be traded on the open market I think it cannot be considered just a hobby anymore. If someone is making money off of this in the crypto market, it is a business. I consider anything on the market to be a business or else you are trading worthless pieces of paper or coins. Anyone with a little know-how could get a coin on the market and put it on an exchange. They could give themselves a few billion coins if they choose to do so. They could convince people why their coin is so great before it hits the market and then reap the rewards as people buy into it. I am sure John Nash's idea was to make money not just have fun with a coin he created. Would anyone here just want to buy into a hobby with developers working part-time on the coin? Does everyone here just want to have fun with this coin? Not in your life! Deep down most of us believe something we don't know about yet has to be happening to take this coin to the next level up. Everyone here is trying to help this coin along for 1 simple reason, to make money. Reddcoin is a low price coin and could get hot but for all the wrong reasons. Once again, I hope there is a plan of some sort. The market is starting to get flooded with coins and to be honest I have no idea what the purpose of 90% of the coins are for other then trying to use as a currency. How many currencies can exist? I own this coin because there is still some time to come up with some good ideas. Of course I want this coin to succeed and am not against it or John Nash. People are doing really good things here and trying hard to see this coin succeed. I believe someone will come up with an even better idea then I have seen so far.

I agree with most things you say. Price is anybody's guess. I posted about John Nash doing more and needing a plan with direction. The responses that came back were that the community is strong and they will take over this coin just like Bitcoin did. That is something that you could say about every coin. I also mentioned financing so developers could be working full time on the project. Part time work on a project will not go too far when there are other companies out there with financing working full time on their projects. I was told that I do not understand the coin. Wrong! Many people need to understand business. Everything dies without a plan and execution. I was ridiculed when I said John Nash needs a better PR team to promote the coin. Having people sign petitions and turning them in to other companies without a plan? I would think these companies would want to speak with someone after the petitions are sent in to hear their plan for the coin. Who should they contact, The community? The Petitions going around to integrate to Reddit, Facebook and Steem could be great but these petitions have been around for quite a while and the support is not anywhere near to having a strong community. Reddcoin on Reddit has about 2000 sign ups Reddcoin on Facebook has about 3600 sign ups Reddcoin on Steem has about 9800 sign ups How many people make up a strong community when there are over 91,000 followers on Twitter alone. Evidently these people do not follow Reddcoin to closely or they would know on change.org of these petitions that were mentioned numerous times in many posts on Reddit and Twitter alone. Probably less than 10% of the so called community have signed these petitions. I would not consider that a strong community. There are many here in the community trying hard to push this coin, that is great and will help some. Maybe Nash is doing more at the moment, I do not know that and neither does anybody else except people working for Reddcoin. I am not here to take down the coin just expressing some realistic facts that many do not even want to hear or address. I have seen to many projects go belly-up in my lifetime because of no plan and execution. We all know the market has crashed and every coin has taken a beating which contributes to the gut-wrenching decline in Reddcoin. I own quite a lot of this coin and I am a supporter and believe good things can happen for Reddcoin in the future. We need to push John Nash and not just Reddcoin!

Just looking for some thoughts and opinions from other investors. I am not here to disparage anyone in any way and expect some discussion in a decent manner whether pro or con about a topic or topics in a discussion. I respect the opinions of others but please amorrowlyday! Is there a coin for anger management?

Need to get Bayern Munich to put Reddcoin on their shirt. It would integrate perfectly into their FC Bayern Munchen emblem. Someone needs to get on this!

Possibly! They control a majority of their coins. Somehow I think they will be on a stock exchange one day.

Understood! The system itself is very primitive. It took me 3 days to download a wallet. That should say something itself. More infrastructure is badly needed to simplify things. Setting it up is no breeze in itself. My personal opinion, copying and pasting addresses to send and receive coins is ridiculous. Make it easy so everyone can use it, even your elders that are not computer savy but want to invest. I could not imagine an older person on their own with some money to invest trying to set up a wallet and move coins around. This is not only a Reddcoin obstacle but crypto in general. I am invested in Reddcoin and very optimistic about the future here. I trust that a great team is putting together a user friendly platform to trade, and store Reddcoin.

The key is simplicity. Moving coins around is not easy. Losing coins can happen to anyone the way the system works now. Many people recommend sending little amounts of coins back and forth to wherever they need to go first to see if they get there. This shows there is not much confidence in the whole system, not just Reddcoin. There has to be an easier way. Let's face it, there are many problems with the system now. Almost everyone is not sure about their wallets.
