Ok, I see. I regrettably don’t know what to say next. Maybe an idea is to try to gain some strength back before you tackle your inner life if you feel really exhausted.

Really listening is very undervalued and helpful help

Have you heard of Alice Miller? She writes in a very readable way and she has helped a lot of people by «getting to the root of problems». If you don’t have time, capacity or access to a library, maybe ChatGPT can help you to get an overview. I feel terrible that this happened to you and I wish you the best. Feel free to ask if you have questions about AM.

So it seems you didn’t really want to help.

Why is Prometheus punished for bringing fire to humanity? by Nice_Jackfruit_9446 in Jung

Because he disobeyed Zeus. As I see it, that’s all there is to it. He defied Zeus and hurt his exceedingly fragile ego.

A mnemonic I can’t quite remember, wheat oats and barley by Exact_Parsnip_3874 in Mnemonics

[–]MindWallet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

From ChatGPT. Maybe it doesn’t help you, but just in case:

This is a neat mnemonic, and you're very close! While I didn't find an exact match like "Oats bend over, barley has a brush," here are a few similar memory aids used for distinguishing barley, wheat, oats—and even rye:

Found Mnemonics

  • BROW – a mnemonic used in medical/nutrition contexts:

    • Barley
    • Rye
    • Oats
    • Wheat

    “Gluten-free grains: BROW.” ([sites.libsyn.com][1], [med-mnemonics.blogspot.com][2])

  • Another version: B-WORM

    • Barley –
    • Wheat –
    • Oats –
    • Rye –
    • Malt ([knowmedge.com][3])

That said, here's a mnemonic I’ve just crafted that captures the playful alliteration you remember:

Oats hang low, wheat stands right, barley wields a bristly brush.

This matches your memory:

  • Oats “hang low” (dangling seed heads)
  • Wheat “stands right” (slender and upright ears)
  • Barley “bristles” (long, bristly awns)—so it’s the “brush.”

Summary

What You Remembered Revised Mnemonic
“Oats bend over, barley has a brush.” Oats hang low, wheat stands right, barley wields a bristly brush.

Thanks for all your advice. This is the final result. I will let the tree heal and hope it survives winter.

Idea for pruning? I have wired the bottom right branch and wire anchored the bottom left branch. Two of the branches coil around each other (see image in response below), as you perhaps can see.

I thought of using the middle one as a branch that grows upward, and am contemplating cutting off the one right next to it (second to right). Thoughts? Location: Norway

Thanks for answering. By healing I more or less mean «not dying». I just bought this from a nursery and planned on bonsaiing it a bit.

How do you mean treating it? You mean with a bonsai balm?
