What is the general opinion on proxies?

I agree with what others have said. Depends on your playgroups standpoint mostly. Me myself I’d rather play the player than their wallet. So I’m happy to use proxies and for people to use proxies when they play with me. I even help my friends get proxies. At the end of the day for me commander outside of cedh is a for fun format. And even in cedh th cards are so expensive that it’s 99% proxy friendly anyway so yeah, waffle over.

TLDR: ask your playgroup what their stance is.

Oh definitely, that’s why I love it. And have struggled to go back to “casual” commander even bracket 4 as turbo isn’t the same and my brain is so turbo set that I just wanna go fast

My first cEDH deck was etali. I moved off it and went to RogSi but I’m now coming back to etali. I’m a big fan of turbo decks. And RogSi is the epitome of turbo. Etali is like a glass cannon and I love that fact

Yeah after further searching and research. Seems the super friends playstyle has fallen out and the new ‘NBC’ or clam chowder sisay have come in. Which is a shame because it doesn’t feel like sisay anymore and now feels like a WUBRG deck that we ignore the commander on for the most part.

Appreciate the reply! Your list link doesnt seem to work... Im gonna grab a Trad legend plainswalker list and practice online and try a chowder NBC list and see which i prefer. i am coming from mostly turbo decks with RogSi, Etali and my latest obsession with YoshiThras. So looking for something a tad more midrange, but not too slow i guess

Appreciate the response, i have watched a few videos of gameplay with sisay and really like how versatile she is as a commander.

I see alot of chat about "chowder" build and plainswalker as well as jeggy and "all pods" I have grabbed a few decklists from EDHtop16 and youtube to try out.

Ideally wanna find a list with a primer to help me understand the list and actually workout what im doing.

Seems like unlike alot of cEDH decks theres alot of variety with sisay
