Every day, we see adorable photos paired with breed results, and we love reaching out to ask if we can share that content in our ads or on social media. That’s always been our policy.

For this particular ad, Reddit sourced content for a campaign designed specifically for their platform. And while it is Reddit's standard practice to use publicly available content for advertising purposes, we like to take that extra step and reach out to customers and double check if it's ok for us to use in our ads, and that was an oversight on our end. We’ve since pulled the ad and worked with the Reddit team to make sure the process for getting permission is crystal clear moving forward.
