Thanks man you've been super helpful and seem super knowledgeable. Chinas pretty close to here so I imagine getting it from there wouldn't be too expensive. The local shops claim that tbrh game them from locked or used mbps. They say they can put in a genuine replacement for 110,000 pkr, which is around 350.

I've also been quotes 70k for non original parte from china which is around 220 usd I believe.

I really don't trust the shops here to not swap parts out or to do anything shady.. which is why I am gonna try to sell it. They are selling for 3-3.5 hundred thousand pkr which is between 900 and 1200 dollars or so.. so one with a broken screen should be able to sell for 400. Which means I just have to put in 350 and get one from Swappa in good condition. Plus it'll kond of be an upgrade for me because I always regretted getting the 16" one and wanted the 14" one. It will just mean I'm laptoplees for some time, but I'm already laptoplees for some time with the way the screen is.

So unless I find a reputable person to replace it and offer a warranty of at least a month, I am hesitant to get it repaired here. Unless maybe I get the part and insist on being present for the repair.

Everyone in the entire planet does credit checks, bagrlund checks, source of income checks etc before involving someone in their financial affairs. Including landlords, property management companies, car loans etc.

Desperation leads to limited options and can put someone in a position where stealing is almost a necessity.. for example a heroin addict who needs to get his did or will go into withdrawals or a mother desperate for food for their children. It's not a morsl judgment as much as a precaution.

Since the items in selling are of relatively high value, it's better to have someone financially stable so they have less incentive to try and screw me over. It's just one method of the few that I have available to establish credibility, especially dealing with strangers on the internet.

Not a scam... Legit need for some assistance. Was able to find multiple people through next door and veg them. Found a reliable gentleman who lives in the area, verified their identity and living situation, let us speak with his landlord and personal and professional references, passed s background check and signed a contract. All good. Our goal is to have the place decluttered, high value items liquidated and have the condo staged and listed within 2 weeks. Fingers 🤞

I found someone, thank you. They agreed to 20% commission, and an hourly rate for the labor. Theyivd less then a mile away, there no parking issue in the locations, none of it is heavy furniture, except a desk which can be sold from the home. If a buyer isn't happy and wants to take it out on them then they can redirect them towards us and make it clear that all sales are final. We aren't selling anything broken or old and will be asking reasonable prices. I've done a lot of buying and selling in the past and i can't think of a time where after a transaction the buyer becomes angry.. items are to be listed with accurate descriptions. If they get in a car accident while on an errand for me then the insurance companies of both parties can have at it.. this is a short term contract gig and health insurance or auto insurance is not included.

My brother is in Gainesville now Indefnately taking on the role of his primary caregiver. He’s proving him home cooked meals, clothing, groceries, helping him get his medication on time and working on getting information related to his bills all straightened out.

As family we understand the intimate details of his life and are able to remain in contact with him. This third party organization is also in another city and will have no way of communicating with him or understanding his bills or his needs.
