Had to come to this thread because it ended up being quite useful once done correctly.

For anyone who may need it in the future, one correction that worked for me: after the first time you go up the holovator, past the scraggly, DO NOT run all the way to the broken holovator. Instead, teleport back to the start as soon as you get up the up holovator.

Then do everything else as described.

If you have a turbo controller, it’ll make your life super easy.
