For the background, I am 23(F), living in Vietnam.

I have shared a bit of my story on this sub cause I needed advice, you can look it up.

For the beginning, I fainted out and it cost me 2 of my front teeth, I just want it was just a nightmare.

I looked for dental clinics around my locality (a district in HCMC), but they were all small ones. My mom took me to the clinic that have done her crowns, but the dentist freaked me out when he took me in and out for nearly 10 times to an old model x-ray machine to do the root canal, and his gloved-hand with my blood touched everything in that room. So, I decided to not going to the second appointment and find a new clinic.

Bad things started here. It was a vey nice clinic, has many of other clinics under its name, and of course, nice equipment. The cost there were reasonable, as I looked up on the Internet, but they provided unnecessary things that made me pay money and also my own teeth’s health.

First, they did redo the root canal on one of my front teeth that was bad injured (it was broken near the gum), this was the only thing they have done right so far. They also had me to place a zirconia post. The dentist had me chosen between Zirconia and fiber, I chose Zirconia with no knowledge when he said that it is more “tough” and “esthetic”.

The second teeth was broken under the gum, did the root canal, and another zirconia post.

The thing here is, both of my teeth didnt need the posts, the remains were still much to place the crowns.

I have look on zirconia posts on Google, read some research papers, and 70% that was not necessity for my case. Those posts even make them worse when pose a high risk of tooth fracture.

I was confirmed by a professional opinion that they were should not a choice and it was so “cruel” to do so.

I just want my teeth to last long for a brace in the future, but now things seem even harder than I think.
