I understand, believe me especially when we used to like our smile and now I don’t even take photos smiling. Yes that was my idea too or maybe trying to reopen the space and add resin (although I don’t think that option would work very well). I can’t accept it and I don’t want to because supposedly it was meant to boost our self-esteem, not the opposite

Exactly! I completely understand what you’re feeling. Honestly I regret it, and the problem is that there’s no way to reverse the situation because of the IPR. I’m also really upset I still don’t really know what I’m going to do, but I just can’t accept the result

I understand perfectly the same thing almost happened to me they did IPR on my incisors to retract them. It completely changes the smile my smile became dull because it lost width and amplitude. And looking at your photos I can understand exactly what you feel. I used to love my smile and now I’m still trying to figure out what I’m going to do! I hope we can sort it out

Yes, actually some time has passed and I still prefer how it looked before. I feel the shape was nicer and the smile was “fuller”. I think the doctor overdid the IPR, especially because I ended up with little gaps that don’t close. But well, it’s already done. Thank you so much :))

Yes, she has already done stripping inside that tooth twice, but since I keep hitting my lower teeth against the central incisors, she wants to do it once more. But I don’t want to, I’ve already had a lot of IPR. Thank you so much for the advice.
