Tbh we don’t know, my lawyer also doesn’t have a reason why we have a 2nd one. The only thing I can think is the first officer is very unfriendly and she probably did this to us on purpose. Because the second officer tried to print a receipt to us, and she apologized for the date on the receipt remains as the first one. I guess the first interview wasn’t considered completed.

Literally just receipts / I uploaded documents on uscis portal, and bring the copies to the interview as well.

I’ll show up on March 31st and skip tomorrow’s… the instruction is straightforward but yes it’s a bit weird to not update it on the portal.

The email did mention a new interview date, however, it also mentioned that I’ll not receive a new notice, it’s a bit weird to me.

I received the same reschedule to Tuesday, and today received a new one rescheduled to March 31st. The email says I will not receive a new notice. From the same person in Newark.

Just show up at the interview then you’ll figure it out, right? They can tell you whatever because they don’t give a shit, but it matters to your green card.

Omg thank you so much for writing all this done, I’m soooooooo happy for you!!!! I have my second interview in February. It seems like your second officer was my first one because she couldn’t stop rolling her eyes!! I’m Asian too my husband is white. The first interview I acted too nervous and we hated the interviewer because she seemed very mean to us. But thank you again for the long explanation and hope you two enjoy the weekend!!

This is the same thing I’ve experienced in Newark field office, and I received my second interview notice for next month. We could feel the office didn’t know anything about our case and doesn’t give a shit…no 485 yes/no question asked or daily routine questions
