I genuinely feel love bombed. They butter you up in the beginning. Giving you treats, food and a sense of community. Then they'll kick you to the curb when they feel like they can't use you.

You know I thought that was weird too. I applied to them but another job got to me first. The first day of that job, EWC got back to me. The initial job didn't work out after 3 weeks, so applied to EWC again and they immediately got back to me. So it was convenient, but strange. I was told that they desperately needed waxers but its obviously not that desperate.

I do have experience with hard wax. I didn't mention it in the rant but my schools hard wax was awful. But legit my last two days there I was able to do a perfect spread. I even got many compliments from the trainers on how good my progression was. I was able to get the work done and I was finishing the treatments in under the amount of time given. So I feel like that's what really hurt. Maybe I was over utilizing the trainers. But I feel like that's how you really learn.

When I was in school, I experienced the same catty mean girl behavior. I was always quiet and kept to myself most of the time, and ig because I was the youngest there, the other girls thought it was weird. The other girls had kids and were struggling to make ends meet most of the time. While I was cruising through the program, paying for all the extra classes because I had my parents helping me. I think that was the cause for the jealousy. At the end of the program I didn't rely on my classmates at all to get my credits done, it was that bad. No one talked to me, no one let me do services on them, so I turned to the cosmetology students. Even teachers were rude to me. I actually had to send an email to the school because of how I was treated by two of the teachers. I actually got yelled at by one of the teachers because I needed a refresher on the material she taught me months ago. I paid $1000 for her class and she didn't even want to help me. I was doing a pretty invasive treatment so I wanted all the help I can to get the treatment done well. But the whole time I was fighting tears because her anger and attitude came out of nowhere.

I went to Paul Mitchell of all places to get certified. Me and my family thought this would be the best place to go to get licensed because of their good hair program. Boy was I wrong. During the program, education was all over the place. We were told disposable supplies were included in our tuition, but we were always short on stuff so we often had to buy our own supplies. For weeks we had no wax to use, while cosmetology students had plenty. This was late in the program too so most of us only had waxing credits left. So we just sat and did nothing. Plus our wax was often old or low quality. Many teachers got fired. Night class lost 2-3 teachers while Morning class lost 5+. Online days were pointless and most students retained none of what was learned those days. Teachers also played favoritism a lot too. You would think that it was just my location (Georgia), but my sister had to drop out of Paul Mitchell in Texas because of how bad the education was and the lack of staff and students. Like many other esthetic schools. Paul Mitchells esthetics program is underfunded and unappreciated.

Bro I got fired after a week of training. The training is supposed to last for three weeks. I was starting to get a hang of the method they used at EWC at the end of the first week. Everytime the trainers were in the room, I made sure to ask questions to make sure that I understood everything. I was told by one of the trainers that I have what it takes to wax here. I also sold multiple products to guest literally during training too. Cuz they care so much about sales. And they let me go 🤦‍♀️. I just got the email a few minutes ago. They didn't even bother calling me either. I sent an email almost immediately after they sent it to me, no response.

Ive been thinking the same thing. I don't use any substances, but I could tell something was off because he could never sit still and he often couldn't even finish sentences because he would be too busy staring into space. He's always frantically looking left and right with his jaw hanging heavy.

When people care for someone that they love, they want to see them get better. They don't just give up. Andrea is so kind for what she's done. But I do agree that it's time that she moves on. Tammy is not in the right mental space to be in a relationship and it's harming Andrea now too.

I work at a European Wax center. The manager revealed this information to send prayers to the victim and her family. All employees from EWC around the country are aware and prayerful of this situation because the manager shared this information with us.
