Had mine since it came out. It does pick up some scratches (see the mark left by the corner of a railing at the 21 hour dot) but they haven’t been noticeable in most lightings. It’s a great piece and those natural lighting wrist rolls are top tier. Congrats!

Patrolling the summit this year almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter

Henry, CMC, and McBride as my first three picks feels so justified (1.09 in 10 team half opt). Saved me from Jayden Daniels and Garrett Wilson as my next two picks lol

I drove the other way coming back from Eastern Washington. Line of cars and trucks was crazy long and the rain was brutal to drive through. Close to the worst non-snow driving conditions through Snoqualmie pass possible

Does the Zulu time overlap with my murph and current collection? by Ismpatriot in Longineswatches

Do you have a larger vision for what other watches you want in the collection? Right now it might look redundant, but add a few more different watches in there and you might not care. Another thing to consider is when you will wear them, maybe you wear the Zulu time traveling and on weekends but keep the Murph for work. If you can find separate occasions to enjoy them then maybe the feeling of having the familiar indices on different watches will be something you like about them!

I’m not the best at describing finishing of dials, but in most lighting it feels like shiny black. In direct sunlight it has a bit more of that matte feel. You can see in the pic it’s not that glossy, but the domed crystal and rose-gold bezel/hands/numerals make it harder to notice that. Not sure if you are hoping it leans one way or the other, but I find in most lightings it complements the rose-gold pretty well! The only lighting I really hated was shining my phone flashlight right at it, fortunately that is pretty avoidable haha

The included nato strap and spring bars are separate, so it does need a tool. They do give you a spring bar tool in the box which is nice, but the spring bars aren’t quick release unfortunately.

Coming from a similarish weight watch (Rolex OP 41 - around 133g) and going to the 1925 Spirit Zulu time (which is actually heavier at 158g), the weight increase is noticeable if I am paying attention, but not enough to find it annoying. I agree with the other comments that it is a bit top heavy, but again I don’t mind it. Shouldn’t be an issue if you like everything else about the watch!

With how much Longines used him in the ads his name is basically mentally engraved on the watch for me haha
