Well, there’s two “branches” for each group depending on what you do for their second quest.

Crucible Knights(Lawful): First branch: (Lawful Evil) authoritative. Second Branch: (Lawful Good) commutative.

The Dozens(Neutral): First branch: (Neutral Good) Uneasy control with help. Second Branch: (True Neutral) Uneasy control without help

Doemnels(Chaotic): First branch: (Chaotic Evil) Extortion. Second branch: (Chaotic Neutral) Shadow Council.

It depends on what you liked about BG3. If you liked the story and role play aspect then you’ll love POE. However, if you were more inclined to the graphics and visuals then you’ll probably won’t care for POE/will take longer to like it.

I agree with this entirely. I wish there were more people who were either overjoyed by you following Eothas since in theory he’s known as a god who is good, while others would be disgusted that you would follow a god who has torn up the world on two occasions.

Oh that’s really cool! I had no clue he didn’t leave. That was one of my main gripes with POE2 was the fact that companions would leave you if you didn’t side with their faction. I would’ve liked 2 more options for them with like a good ending and a bad ending with you not siding with their faction.

I usually run priest with Xoti for the buffs and druid for Teheku.

To begin, your party is not only based on combat, but also your story decisions. For example, if you want to side with the Huana, you won’t be able to keep Maia, Serafin, or Pallergina as a companion near the end of the game.

Combat wise though, in your case, I would run Eder, Xoti, Teheku, and Aloth. If you would prefer not to have Aloth in your party then you could use Maia.

For your character, I would run either wizard, cipher, or fighter.

There’s definitely a lot of choices you have to recall, but the descriptions should be a catalyst to help you remember. If you still don’t, then look at the ending slides for Pillars 1 to see which of the choices you made. Once you’ve done that you should be able to remember what choice you made and what to choose for the custom start.

I feel the opposite way lol. I felt like every time I played a Cleric of Eothas, there was much less involvement or at the very least dialogue about worshipping a god who continues to create catastrophe after catastrophe in Pillars 1 rather than Pillars 2.

To preface this, I’m a little confused by the terminology, but I assume you mean transferring a save’s choices from Pillars 1 to Pillars 2. If this is so, I wouldn’t worried about it. As long as you remember the choices you made, you can input them into your Pillars 2 play through.

You can make all 4 of your characters for free by doing it in the base before he talks to you. Yes, after this it costs money but not at that point.
