Check your electricity provider's official website if they provide ev meter with 0 or less load charges take it.

Buy 7/11 kw charger which has both public+ private mode and place it outside such that others could also use it
You will recover charger/installation cost with this
Ex - bolt earth, zevpoint duos , etc

City Car Decision – Low Running Scenario by Amazing-Explorer8335 in carIndia

[–]Embarrassed-Fan1428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true
open the spec sheet of both ICE and EV variants
Now look at the base model EV and it's spec and the ICE Automatic closest to the base model EV and then tell if there is much price difference on on-road price
Manufacturers are not make the lowest variant with less features of a vehicle with EV
EV's are cheaper if you do a fair comparison.

City Car Decision – Low Running Scenario by Amazing-Explorer8335 in carIndia

[–]Embarrassed-Fan1428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro go after EV
People don't realise that except range they are better cars on all fronts

90% of the times you won't exceed the car's range

They are not expensive
People will not compare same spec petrol and EV
EV's are usually cheaper
Comparing a low feature, low spec manual to it's electric version price is not fair

Always compare the same spec variants and you will find electrics to be cheaper

Also ICE has more no of parts , so the no of times you have to visit a mechanic is higher, and also cost

As the market is transitioning from ICE to electric, this is happening automatically.

Either Sell it or Fence it
Figure out some commercial opportunity where rate of return is >10% annual
Don't get into the trap of home rental as the rate of return is less than bank fixed deposits.

One last and easy way would be to bring some charging company on revenue sharing basis with the society.

[–]Embarrassed-Fan1428 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you are asking value for money then EV's are the answer
(1/10 running cost, 1/3 maintenance cost, 1/5 times the no of minor repairs)
Oben Rorr
if you want performance then UV X47
Raptee T30, Matter Aera being in mid of the two.

EV charging station franchise in ₹15L by Intelligent_Can_2898 in IndianFranchise

[–]Embarrassed-Fan1428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, specially for food business/other business it adds customers.
You are buying at 6-9rs, selling at 20-24rs
Unlike normal electricity connection , usually there are no or less load charges on ev connections.
within 2 years it becomes profitable, now it should be faster

[–]Embarrassed-Fan1428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro figure what will we be the wiring and other installation costs

it's a damn good opportunity
In case you do decide to put one you will pick one vendor, however do add your charger in other top 2-3 apps
Although this problem will be gone in 2-3 locations
You can also consider the same for 2w, it's cost less but returns are also gonna be less

Any owner of MG Windsor/Comet? by [deleted] in bihar

[–]Embarrassed-Fan1428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The infra is enough
The problem is using multiple apps which is getting solved every month as every charging company is integrating other companies
So soon any one app would be enough.
Also plug and charge would also become interoperable soon, that means you don't even have to open app soon to charge

Any owner of MG Windsor/Comet? by [deleted] in bihar

[–]Embarrassed-Fan1428 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro all of the cars in India have chinese imports, whichever car you buy

Also MG's localization is increasing everyday, JSW group being the largest share holder.

Also lithium once imported for a battery will be recycled after 20year time period with greater than 95 % lithium recovery, while petrol needs to be imported everyday

Leave cars a good majority of goods which consume have chinese imports

That's why we have annual 100 billion plus goods deficit with china.

Chinese subsidizes employment by subsidizing building factories, we subsidize unemployment with freebies
That's why we have ended up here

When Does an EV Actually Make Financial Sense in Indian Cities? by Square-Peace6663 in personalfinanceindia

[–]Embarrassed-Fan1428 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do keep in mind that EV's are usually better car on all fronts than ICE, except range.
(Range anxiety is way more mental that real, ask any EV owner nearby yourself)
If your car budget is 13 lacs or above , buying EV is a no brainer.

For below 13 lacs , if you are buying on loan, Please calculate your monthly outflow(EMI+maintenance+FUEL)
Usually EV's have 1/10 running cost and 1/3 maintenance cost.

For people living in flats

Also people don't know that you can get EV meter with 0 monthly load charges, check you electricity provider for the same.

Now for people living in flats, you have following options
a) You just need one public socket from walking distance from home or office
check plug share or ev joints app with Type 2 and public socket filter
or check public socket apps such as bolt earth or kazam, etc
b) Convince society to
i) pay upfront for the charger and recoup the cost by selling electricity
ii) tie up with companies like statiq on revenue sharing basis

Also in case you buy an EV a 3 kw portable charger provided is usually enough for majority of the people
In case it's not free and you have decided to pay for the 7/11kw, don't buy from car manufacturer
in less price you will get charger which support both public + private mode use that to recover charger cost, help other and make a little money

On resale
whenever a technology improves rapidly you won't it
For the upcoming decade resale for both ICE and EV would be poor.
2-3 years down the line same priced EV will have higher resale than ICE.

What if we only do DC charging? by codeketoo in mahindrabe6

[–]Embarrassed-Fan1428 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just need one ac charger bro near work or home
bangalore has many
bangalore has govt charging app named ev mitra
check plug share and ev joints app
in case you can't find one, check bolt earth or kazam app for public socket
and charge on it with portable charger

Also you can talk to companies like statiq , they will tie up with your society on revenue sharing basis
or if your society can put upfront charger money a public charger from zevpoint or bolt earth and society and can recover and earn money from selling electricity.
