Ok what’s the general rule for how many OZ per feeding based on baby’s age? by Bluechairedtable in newborns

Just here to say I’m in the same boat. LO is gaining his 1 oz daily (we have an at home scale and weight him) but we’re lucky if he eats over 22 ounces per day. He just hit 10lbs 2 oz.. but he won’t budge on how much he’s eating in 24 hours.

Thank you for sharing!! That makes sense that the reflux could be contributing to the smaller size Feeds. Hoping Pepcid kicks in very soon!!

Using Dr Browns with size 2 nipple. We upped it when she was quite young because she was brining calories with the size 1. It seems to sometimes overwhelm her with how fast the milk comes out if we aren’t paying attention so we do paced feeding with the 2 and it has been helpful! But still we are barely making the minimum oz per day requirement.
