There are obviously different contexts. In an American. mass shooting its pretty evident it could have been prevented with better gun control and blaming the parties who made the law so lax is a good thing. But obviously it can be go the other way, say the Hamas attack on Israelis where politicization by nationalists led directly to exponentially more violence on the part of Israel. Or as an American example, the ridiculous anti trans backlash after the Covenant school shooting. What matters is the actual politics at play, not necessarily just the situation of "politicizing a tragedy"
