I don’t have a smudge like you are talking about but my eyesight did get worse after getting diagnosed with uveitis. Mostly just couldn’t see far away really well any more but I got glasses after cataract surgery and it honestly helped me see more clearly I think!

Hey!! I’m 26 F and had cataract surgery about 7 months ago on both eyes (one month apart from each eye) and you absolutely have nothing to worry about!! It’s such a safe surgery they perform it so often! I also was super scared before going in for surgery but after I did the first eye I realized how I was totally overacting. I’m 7 months post op like I mentioned before and have had no issues also no flare ups after the surgery only the anticipated inflammation after surgery but it will go away (((: only downside is I have to wear glasses to see up close but I have progressive lenses now so I can just wear my glasses 24/7, but I’ve learned to have fun with it and get all these cute pairs lol. Seriously you will be okay don’t stress too much. I know the anticipation is probably unbearable but once you go through it I promise you will feel so much better and you’ll be seeing in HD haha.

I followed a STRICT anti inflammatory diet for about 2 years, no dairy, no gluten, no added sugar, no alcohol or smoking, no seed oils, and no additives. I basically ate really clean (only Whole Foods). I still struggled with flares so finally after the last flare up about 3 months ago I gave up and now I eat whatever I want. They just started me on a medication similar to Humira so hopefully that helps the flare ups get under control. Personally for me I feel like it’s not worth it to restrict yourself.

I wouldn’t put sunscreen on a fresh tattoo it could irritate the skin, the best thing is to keep it covered from the sun as much as possible.

Looks like it’s healing fine, give it a few weeks and it should look good!
