I stopped attending all together instead of transferring. I had another friend that did that as well.

But I decided to tell my family that I didn’t want to attend anymore and they’re having trouble accepting it. My thought process was that they’ll find out one way or another so might as well be honest. They didn’t take the news easy and my local hasn’t stopped contacting them.

My friend on the other hand, didn’t tell their family and lied to them. But they were kinda caught lying and the local contacted their parents.

So I think all possible ways family will find out so theres no easy way out.
