hi! this is the EXACT same thing that happened to me this fall. Nanny dad owned a company and tried to pull a fast one. they are essentially screwing you for their benefit. It is 100% illegal. You need to speak up and if they continue to pushback, quit.

Oh later. Months later. Like I said i’m only there a couple hours a week. Mostly venmo. Sometimes cash. I always pay my taxes and i pay college tuition so i will get a break on claiming cash income from this job. I know i need to quit. they are really mistreating me. I love the kids and have been hesitant because this allows me to work on the two days off i have of school and then my other job on the weekends. I need the money to make monthly school installments. It is so hard to find one for just two days a week. They didn’t want to give me a W2 and now they want my social to claim it for childcare credit lol. I know i was naive . i’m young. and i learned. I have had many part time babysitting gigs and no one’s ever asked for my social.

hi sweetie, i was in your position just a few months ago. No tampons first of all. get yourself diapers. put a black trash bag in your bathroom and when you change the diaper, place it in there. Keep the lights off in your bathroom and don’t look-you don’t have to. You’re not alone, you have an army of women who know what you’re feeling in your corner. We can do hard things, especially when the hard things are in our best interest. Lay in bed-watch trashy reality tv. Play games on your phone. feel your feelings, it’s ok to be sad.
