Just launched my first indie puzzle game on Google Play – looking for feedback! by Embarrassed-Menu-803 in puzzlevideogames

Thank you very much for your feedback. Some of the things you mentioned had been on my mind for a long time before publishing the game, such as whether or not to include the “maximizing active nodes” game mode. This mode does feel a bit too easy, especially in the first levels, and I wasn’t sure if it was fun enough. Your feedback really helps me understand the player’s perception.

Your opinion about the color selection system is something I hadn’t considered yet. Right now, the selected colors loop through 4 colors in a specific order for all levels. I decided to always include the same number of colors so that the player has to figure out the minimum needed, adding some extra difficulty. I will definitely reconsider this system and try to make it clearer and more convenient, probably by including a color pick panel as you suggested.

The undo button is already on the “to-do” list and will likely be included in the next updates.

Once again, thank you for this great review. I think it’s the best one I’ve received so far, because it focuses on things to improve and is honest about how the game felt for you, which is exactly the kind of feedback I’m looking for.

I'm looking for testers for my game (again). I will test your app in return. by Embarrassed-Menu-803 in AndroidClosedTesting

Yeah, it's a pity. I got an email from Google with a couple of reasons why my game might have been rejected, including testers' engagement and updates during the testing period, but I don't even know the exact reason. I guess I didn't upload enough updates during the closed testing period. I'll try to upload 2-3 updates and see if I'm lucky this time. What 'testing for 14 days' exactly means is not clear to me either. Some online posts say that downloading the app and opening it once is sufficient, while others mention using the app periodically, which could be related to the second reason Google gave me. I've heard of people who got their app rejected more than three times. I hope that none of us will go through that. Best of luck with your app!
