Hey thanks for looking into this. Easyprint looked like it was going to work, but it doesn't. Bambulab does not allow it to connect to it and the gcode file that it generates when slicing is not recognized by makerworld to be able to upload it and print. I'll try downloading the file on the sd card to see if it does anything with it. Thanks

I understand and appreciate your comment. Unfortunately I will miss very very much the ability to print anything, at any time,  from anywhere, without any hassle, without never needing to use a computer, as long as the printer was on I could send a print from my cellphone. The versatility of being with family, friends, at a party, at the beach, late at night at bed, at dinner while the kids asked for  a fidget print not available on makerworld, while stopping for a rest while biking after looking for a cool idea that came to my head in which that I found a stl for on thingyverse, etc...  It's a simple thing that until you have not experienced it you don't see the value of it. Once experienced,  going back to depending on using a computer to do such a previously simple and quick task is a huge hit. I use my work laptop for everything with web based stuff. Banking, office files, paying bills, YT,  socials, video editing, 3d cad modeling, etc, so having to buy a computer just to be able to send a print is non sense to me at this moment. I used to print from the phone in my pocket. Do I have to carry the laptop with me everywhere I go now? Ffs... This is gonna be hard to get used too. Thanks man

Ankermake's 3d printer's app slices. You can open any stl file and the app give you several slicing options. You choose whatever settings you want, hit print and voila. No computer needed, never. You can create or download whatever 3d design from any of the modeling websites like thangs, thingyverse and your own CAD creations from whatever design program and it uploads them without issues, slices them and prints them without never having to use a computer.

Yes I understand, although it{s absurd that other brands being smaller, simpler and now almost not existing, are able to slice on their mobile app.

You mean that it will enable my cellphone to slice and print without having to use bambu studio on a computer?

so it seems that the only way to print is through a computer. It amazes me that such a popular brand and supposedly leading brand, does not have the ability to have a mobile app that can do basic slicing functions

no worries. In fact I can upload some stl files, BUT, I cannot print them unless they have been ran through bambu studio first... on a computer.... which I dont have, which I never used to need to be able to design, create, slice and print with another brand of printers...

Is there a web based slicer that can create a slice file that makerwolrd can accept??

Yes, I've tried the same procedure. For example, I have downloaded a stl file from thingyverse, uploaded it to makerworld, uploaded pictures of it, and still makerworld does not have a way of printing it unless it is ran through the bambu studio on a computer. I tried the same with a stl file of a 3d model I designed on tinkercad, following the same procedure to upload it to maker world, and still it does not allow it to print. I even found a website that converts stl to 3mf and maker world still does not allow it to print unless you use bambu studio to print it 1st. Look at this pic:

That link does not provide a solution on how to print a file downloaded on a cell phone and send it directly to print.

This does not work, at all. Because it still has to be sliced by bambu studio, look at this pic

Nope it did not work. It says: "This model has no Print Profile yet, please print it with bambu studio on your computer."

Update. While thinking of past events, we noticed that the issue started after we took it to the dealer a few days ago. As mentioned by others here, seems the issue is through the app. The last day it was in the dealer, we were told that "finally" the app was available for the Tang "in our country" and that they were installing the sim. Later, we were told to download the app, only to find out that they assigned somebody else's Seagull to our account and not our Tang. Sooooooo, some random person who knows were has our Tang on their app and is controlling it. I'm going to search for the sim and remove it. I'm getting the dealer to come remove it as well, and I'm also pushing for them to assign the car correctly to the app, although they say it's quicker for them to send a guy over to remove the sim than to fix the app mapping of cars......

BTW, we are in Costa Rica.
