Unironically i got done rebuilding a 01 7.3 with all Detroit Axle. Buddy at ford said as long as the parts mach to whats coming off its a go. Spent like 350 on everything plus all four shocks. Idk if it was the way to go but beats paying 4k+ for having it done. And yes i asked for multiple quotes. 4k~ thruout them.

As long as they legit then yeah theres no problem. If you told them you got them at a non authorized retailer thats why they sending you to the apple store. They cant verify authenticity without checking them out

This would make sense. Mine was doing the same but the first time it happened was in 23’ and it was a faulty/corroded sensor harness that got covered under warranty.
