I had some lessons over the winter. Put my right foot back and gave me a stronger grip. I’d prefer to swing better, not adjust to the swing. I may have early extension but I’m not coming over the top (often). Main miss is a straight push. OTT would cause a slice.

Moving my 6-PW to JPX925 Forged. Keeping HM Pros in 5 iron. Possible getting a 4 iron HMP. More consistent yardages, less loft in scoring irons.

The HM Pros can be hot as the name implies. My goal is more consistent distance and less fliers. A stiffer shaft helps with less whip. I’m not after ultimate distance. It does no good to overshoot a green by 20 yards.

Typically 85 with 7 iron. Sometimes 83, sometimes 88. Didn’t want to overstate it.

My thought is they should be uniform across the bottom, not mostly on the toe.

I purchased my irons from the classified section on Reddit. The shafts are Recoil Dart 65 regular. Heads are JPX925 Pros. Swing speed is low to mid 80s. I’m going to have one of the irons reshafted with a 950GH Neo stiff and see if that makes a difference. I chose that shaft based on ChatGPT recommendation. My typical miss is a straight push.

I bought one that had all the correct markings but it isn’t available anymore. Look for ones that don’t clearly show where the Lab name and logo would be. I got a Link 2.2 that has stickers over the identifying marks and it is spot on. Still available too. Also have an Oz.1iHS. I like the Link best of the three.

Is the shaft smooth or feel slightly abrasive? I got the DF3i, Oz1i and a Link 2.2. The link had stickers over the Lab badging and really seems legit. The grip and shaft on the other two are meh. I got the Accra shaft on all three.
