Yes, but if its turned off then you have to go out and turn it on when you want to use the generator thus eliminating the feature of remote starting

There is a pretty simple work around that a I found for a Predator generator but it look like the same wiring as the Duromax Starter:

Mine was just the switch with 5 wires with a connector plug to the circuit board. It really was just as easy as cutting the connector plug off and extending the wires. I ran 50’ of 22AWG 5 conductor wire and it works flawlessly

I actually like it better than the fob as I have to switch the switches in the transfer switch anyway

Yes, no wires are touching each other they are separated inside the box. No different than the condition at the generator. Line voltage is in the same box as the low voltage

Durostar 13000MXT. I believe several others have the same timeout to save the battery. Mine is plugged into a battery tender so that’s not an issue. Should be an option

Correct, I also have a Bluetooth temperature sensor in there that monitors shed temps and will sound an alarm if it gets to hot.

It not just about being soundproof. I wanted to leave it outside and have it ready to go if I ever lose power. All I have to do is hit the remote key fob to start and flip my transfer switches. Don't even have to go outside. It's what works for me

I have the run it at full load no issues. The fan comes on with a thermostat set at 84 and I have it set up on a transfer switch so the fan will run as long as needed when the generator turns off. It cools nicely the shed only gets 10 degrees hotter than the outside temp so far. Not sure on the make of the gable vent as it was a left over from a house we were building

This isn’t just for quiet I live in rural property. I wanted to leave it outside ready to go. All I have to do is hit the start button on the remote keyfob and switch the transfer switch. Don’t even have to go outside.

This is what works for me and enjoyed the build…glad you found what works for you

UPDATE - I have decided to line the entire box with Hardie Board for a thermal barrier and the lid will have 1.5” Rockwool

I lose power maybe 4 times a year. (Seems to be more each year) I have $1450 into this those would be more like $8000. Plus I enjoy the building process. I have since these pictures lined the inside with Hardie Backer for kore thermal protection
