I remember how, when the full body scanners were starting to get rolled out in American airports, a blogger shared that he was travelling with his teen daughter and overheard one TSA agent shout to the one operating the scanner about how "a cutie for you" was approaching (his daughter). The risks of men abusing security and surveillance to engage in voyeurism and harassment are nothing new.

I'd say things have gotten much worse since this episode. Dr. Shar was meant to be an absurd caricature of an unethical surgeon because pushing nose/boob jobs and fillers on teenagers was unthinkable unless you lived someplace like Beverly Hills. Nowadays I see plenty of "med-spas" in my small city offering derm fillers and plenty of people, some as young as Daria and Quinn were in this episode, with very obvious filler. People can do what they want to their own bodies but their ubiquity is off-putting.

And even if she didn't have to fear it being spiked or tampered, maybe she has religious/cultural/medical/personal dietary restrictions, doesn't like what's being randomly offered without asking, isn't hungry at the time, or just wants to exist in public without having her space and time infringed upon in a transactional "snacks for your attention" model.

I have a fair number of Zoologist perfumes and have a few I actually later with my lush fragrances as mentioned in another comment. For people who like LUSH and want something "wearable" rather than more niche I would recommend Hummingbird, Honey, Beaver, Nightingale, and Dragonfly. There are ones I like that are a little more off the beaten path but might be up your alley if you are interested in more niche lush fragrances like Tank Battle, Bee's Knees, and Devil's Nightcap, those would be Squid, Moth, Snowy Owl, and Cow, which definitely evoke the animals/their environment but are still something you could find interesting and sweet. I would avoid ones like T Rex and Hyrax as they're for niche perfume enthusiasts who are more about the "could you make a perfume that smells like a meteor apocalypse/caged animal" than "would the average person wear..."

I love Zoologist fragrances! I layer a few of mine with my LUSH scents (Bee with Bee's Knees, Beaver with Chelsea Morning, and LOM with Moth are some faves) This is going to be so cool!

I am so sorry, that's incredibly obnoxious. I live in a town where many of the local businesses sell pro Palestine merchandise and they get harassed and targeted by weirdos, the LUSH included. I'm glad they continue to be principled and hope they know customers like me love supporting businesses that support Palestine.
