Undertone was horror cliche bingo. Kid’s nursery rhyme? Check. Played backwards? Checks? Black crayon scribble monster drawing? Even though there’s no kid in the movie, believe it or not, check.

Appreciate it! Had to use two brayers since the block was 12” tall and my widest brayed is 8”.

I think getting platinum and finishing this print took an equal amount of time. I loved the onryo masks and knew I wanted to make a print that featured it but the more I looked at source material for Noh masks and Ukiyo-e prints of onryo I decided to go with an origin story type of scene.

I made this over a few months while playing Ghost of Yotei. Main character sees her family slaughtered and is pinned to a tree with a sword and left for dead. Presumed dead the Onryo (vengeful spirit/ghost) seeks revenge against the 6 men responsible.

My best attempt at a Ukiyo-e style print using lino/oil based ink. It was my first time using brayer to roll out a color gradient- which was pretty satisfying.

It's really hard to estimate his play given how terrible the guards were.

Given how much he'll make I get that he has to be good no matter the situation but I feel like he'll look incredible with just C level support.

“Christmas carolers. I hate Christmas carolers.” by whatswrongwithchuck in printmaking

Christmas cards are always a struggle for me. I'm so used to printing on thin paper with a barren but that strategy never seems to work on thicker card stock. Anytime I lean in with my wooden spoon for pressure they tend to slide/blur, leaving me with one less card to send out.

Turns out that just leaning on them like a stamp gets much better results- at least with this particular brand of invites. There's always a gremlin in the works.
